Long term bonds

The Long term bond strategy typically involves a portfolio of securities from the FTSE Canada’s long term bond index, as well as a few select medium term securities. It is developed with tactical deviations that are thoroughly assessed against the benchmark. These deviations, which are results of the multiple analyses conducted by a team of veteran portfolio managers, are grouped into five sources of value added and are reviewed on a monthly basis by several committees.
With this strategy, Optimum Asset Management has a strong history of providing greater yield, thanks to quality credits from provincial, municipal and corporate bonds.
